HERBALISTA

Herbalista is a Dominican Republic-based company dedicated to supporting the health and wellness of others with medicinal plants. It includes an elixir bar, a product line of herbal remedies, an herbal dispensary (@Herbalistalove), ongoing workshops and events, and one-on-one health coaching.

With a BA in Communications, a degree in Art and Literature from the University of Montreal as well as a certification in herbalism from the Flora Medicina School of Herbalism, Alita is a multiverse of knowledge. From her trainings in Traditional Western Herbalism to her understandings of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, Alita has evolved into a holistic health field expert. She is nurturing a powerful wellness mecca through her talent for wildcrafting and wisdom for health by connecting people together with a mission to bring freedom of health to all.

Her daily rituals involve time at the turquoise temple, the sea, and surfing the waves to purify her soul. She is also owner of a river front 2.5 acres of land in the jungle, where she is planting a syntropic agriculture designed food forest and building her future school of herbalism. She is also the mother of a star seed toddler. Based in Cabarete, a small surf town on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, Alita has an active herbal practice and shares her passion for the plant realm with her community, thus creating what we know today as Herbalista.
