It involves riding a skateboard designed to closely mimic the movements, balance, and feel of surfing on ocean waves. Surf skateboarding (surfskate) and traditional skateboarding share some similarities, but they also have distinct differences in terms of design, purpose, and riding style. Surf skateboards are specifically designed to allow riders to practice and develop skills that are directly transferable to surfing.
